Our Commitment

Duch Law Firm PLLC is committed to providing high-quality legal services and maintaining open, honest communication with our clients. We take all client concerns seriously. If you are dissatisfied with any aspect of our services, we encourage you to bring the matter to our attention so that we may work to resolve it promptly and fairly.

How to Submit a Complaint

If you have a concern or complaint about the legal services you have received, the conduct of an attorney or staff member, a billing matter, or any other aspect of your experience with our firm, please contact us in writing. You may submit your complaint by email to [email protected] or by mail to our office address. Please include your full name and contact information, a description of your concern or complaint, the date or dates on which the relevant events occurred, and any supporting documents or correspondence you believe are relevant.

Written complaints allow us to document your concern accurately and respond to you in a clear, organized manner. We are also happy to discuss concerns by phone; however, we may ask that you follow up in writing so that we have a complete record of the matter.

What Happens After You Submit a Complaint

We will acknowledge receipt of your complaint within five business days. A member of the firm will review your complaint and, if necessary, gather additional information from relevant staff members or review the file. We will provide you with a substantive written response within thirty days of receiving your complaint. If the matter is complex and requires additional time, we will notify you of the delay and provide an estimated timeline for our response.

Our response will describe the steps we have taken or will take to address your concern. Where appropriate, we may offer a meeting or call to discuss the matter further and work toward a resolution.

Billing Disputes

If your complaint relates to a billing matter, please contact us at [email protected] and identify the specific charge or charges in question. We will review the relevant billing records and provide a written explanation. If we determine that an error has been made, we will issue a corrected invoice or apply a credit to your account as appropriate. We ask that billing disputes be raised within sixty days of the date of the invoice in question so that we can investigate the matter while records are readily available.

If You Are Not Satisfied with Our Response

We are committed to resolving complaints internally whenever possible. If you have received our response and remain dissatisfied, you have the right to seek assistance from the appropriate state regulatory authority.

If your matter involves the conduct of an Arkansas-licensed attorney, you may contact the Arkansas Supreme Court's Office of Professional Conduct, which handles grievances against attorneys licensed in Arkansas. Their contact information is available at the Arkansas Judiciary website at arcourts.gov.

If your matter involves the conduct of a Texas-licensed attorney, you may contact the State Bar of Texas, which handles grievances against attorneys licensed in Texas. Their contact information is available at texasbar.com.

Filing a grievance with a state bar authority is separate from and does not preclude any other legal remedies that may be available to you.

Confidentiality of Complaints

All complaints and related communications will be treated with discretion. Information shared in connection with a complaint will be used solely for the purpose of investigating and resolving the matter and will not be disclosed to third parties except as required by law or by our professional obligations.

No Retaliation

Duch Law Firm PLLC will not retaliate against any client for raising a concern or filing a complaint in good faith. We view client feedback as an important part of maintaining the quality of our services and our professional standards.
